ANALYSIS OF FOOTNOTES
Lomborg´s books have extensive footnotes and references. Here is an example of what you may find if you actually check these footnotes. It deals with a part of chapter 3 (pp. 70 to 73 in the British edition). It can be downloaded as a word file here.
Please notice that this analysis of footnotes is not a part of Lomborg-Errors as such. It is not intended to be a list of errors, but just a random example of the ways in which Lomborg uses his sources.

CHRIS GOODALL HAS WRITTEN THE FOLLOWING PRESENTATION OF HIMSELF:
After a career in business, I started writing on climate change two years ago. My book on individual responses ‘How to Live a Low-carbon Life’ was published in February of this year by Earthscan, perhaps the most reputable publisher on sustainability issues in the world. The book was described by the New Scientist magazine as ‘the definitive guide to reducing your carbon footprint’. It won the 2007 Clarion prize for non-fiction. I also write columns for the UK’s Independent on Sunday newspaper. I publish a regular newsletter on climate change issues at www.carboncommentary.com.
